The Blackfin Story
We didn't start as a fuel company. We started as boaters with a problem — and the operational experience to solve it at scale.
Southwest Florida has more registered boats per capita than almost anywhere in the country. It also has some of the most complex waterway access — miles of canals, shallow flats, and private docks that make marina runs impractical for regular boaters.
Blackfin Fuels was built to serve that gap. Not as a side hustle, but as a proper logistics operation — with licensed trucks, GPS routing, commercial insurance, and scheduled weekly routes that customers can plan around.

Blackfin Fuels is owned by Captain Mike. Mike operates a busy offshore fishing charter business. His business uses over 10,000 gallons of Rec 90 fuel a year, and Mike was frustrated with the poor service and lack of options for reliable fuel delivery. Blackfin Fuels was created to serve fellow boaters by offering a better fuel delivery process!

Rec 90 — Ethanol Free
We only carry ethanol-free Rec 90 — the fuel marine engines actually need. No ethanol blends. Better storage stability, less corrosion, fewer fuel system problems. It's the right product for the customer.
380 ft Hose Reach
Our primary tanker carries 380 feet of hose — enough to reach nearly any dock configuration without repositioning the truck. Tight canal? Seawall setback? We've got the reach.
